These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tilewala website (tilewala.com) and your purchase of products from us. By placing an order, creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read them carefully before using our website or placing an order. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our website or purchase our products.
Tilewala is a UK-based tile retailer supplying porcelain, ceramic, natural stone and related products to residential and trade customers.
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to our website if we believe these Terms have been breached.
We make every effort to display product images, descriptions and specifications accurately. However, tiles are natural or manufactured products and slight variations in colour, shade, size and texture may occur between batches.
All prices shown on our website are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where a product is unavailable, where there is a pricing or description error, or where we suspect fraudulent activity.
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase products subject to these Terms. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email.
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering unless you hold an approved trade account with agreed credit terms. We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfer for eligible trade customers.
Orders may be modified or cancelled within 2 hours of placement, subject to our processing status. After this period, cancellation may not be possible.
Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout and vary depending on your location, order size and product type. Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address specified in your order. You are responsible for inspecting goods on delivery and reporting any damage within 48 hours.
If you are not available to receive delivery, our courier may leave a card or attempt redelivery in accordance with their terms. Additional charges may apply for failed deliveries due to incorrect address details.
Sample tiles are available for purchase to help you assess colour and finish. Samples are representative only and may not exactly match full-size tiles from a production batch. Sample fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
You may return unopened, full boxes in their original condition within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product cost. Return shipping is at your expense unless the return is due to our error or damaged goods.
Custom orders, cut-to-size products and special-order tiles are non-returnable unless faulty. Opened boxes, installed tiles and clearance items cannot be returned.
Refunds are processed within 5 - 7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods, to your original payment method.
Trade program members (designers, architects, contractors) may receive exclusive pricing and payment terms subject to separate trade agreement conditions. Trade accounts must be applied for and approved by Tilewala.
Trade pricing and credit terms are confidential and must not be disclosed to third parties without our consent.
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics and product photography, is owned by or licensed to Tilewala and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tilewala shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or products, including loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data.
Our total liability for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the amount paid for the products giving rise to that claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under applicable consumer protection legislation that cannot be excluded by these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
